Dr. Anderson was born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University where he competed as a high jumper on the varsity Track & Field team, culminating in two invitations to the US Olympic Team Trials. He then went on to study dentistry and orthodontics at UNC Chapel Hill. After completing his training in 2021, he spent some time living in Texas and South Carolina but recently decided to move back home to be closer to family.
During his time at UNC, Dr. Anderson was the recipient of the NCAA and ACC Postgraduate scholarships, awarded to the Association's most accomplished student-athletes who have excelled both academically and athletically. He was the recipient of numerous merit-based awards and scholarships, graduated with honors, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He was actively involved in extracurricular events in Chapel Hill, serving as the Orthodontic Program's Dentofacial Deformity Clinic Coordinator, SHAC Emergency Clinic's Resident Attending, ENNEAD Board Member, and a local undergraduate dental society speaker.
Dr. Anderson is excited to become a practice owner and to put down roots in the Winston-Salem area. His mission is to instill lasting confidence in each and every patient through the creation of a beautiful smile. He is a firm believer that the system too often treats patients like commodities, and his goal is to slow down, listen, and serve his patients with intention.
Apart from his professional endeavors, Dr. Anderson enjoys family time, sports, music, hunting, fishing, and exercise. He and his beautiful wife, Dani, are parents to two precious boys -- Emmett and Ledger. As a family they love traveling, exploring new places, cooking delicious meals, and relaxing outdoors.
Dr. Anderson sincerely hopes that each patient feels welcome and valued under his care, and he looks forward to meeting and working with each one of you in the coming months. We cannot wait to meet you!
