Your First Visit | Orthodontist Jeff L. Rickabaugh, DDS, MDS, PA

Please call our office to schedule a consultation at 336.760.9229. We are usually open 8 to 5 Monday - Thursday. We are also generally open one Friday a month to provide more accessibility to our patients.

Our practice sets aside one-half day per week for consultations only. We do not try to wedge new patient examinations into a busy schedule. This allows the doctor to give the patients and parents his undivided attention.

Please set aside about 1 to 2 hours for this appointment. Necessary radiographs will be taken, Dr. Rickabaugh will perform an examination and provide a treatment plan. He will discuss this plan with the patient/parents and take as much time as needed. Important decisions need to be made and you do not want to be rushed. This consultation is complimentary.

After the consultation you will be greeted by our financial coordinator and she will privately discuss the total case fee, insurance co-payment and monthly payments.

If our office and orthodontic treatment fee schedule is comfortable to you, then orthodontic records can be taken that day. Even though Dr. Rickabaugh has already proposed a treatment plan, the records help confirm his diagnosis and plan. We request that the records be paid for the day they are taken. Please be prepared to pay for the records the day of the consultation if you think you may begin treatment with our office.

Financial

We do not require a down payment and we do not charge interest. There is a charge for the records and the 1st monthly payment is due the day the braces are placed.
Payments are due between the first and the fifth day of the month.
We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
A cash discount of 6% is offered for payment in full when the braces are placed.
Family members within the same household receive $10 off their monthly payment on full treatment cases.
Each account is only eligible for one discount.
